Muzo (UNAM Legends) – Known amongst his bevy of supporters as “dance wif him”, the mercurial winger is nothing short of amazing. One of the best deadball specialists in the league.Ĥ2. Packs power in both feet and normally makes his presence known to both opponents and the ref. Pace, power and good feet make him quite a danger to face. Mido (Giggs 11) – “Brilliantly hot headed” read one tabloid describing the winger. Humble in stride but tough on the tackle, a great asset for Lynx.Ĥ3. Had a stint with SEA last season on loan, winning himself a league cup medal. Theo (Lynx FC) – One of the most consistent full backs in the league, able to play on both flanks with a natural left foot. Notched 8 goals in his debut season, a feet that is most admirable for the newbies.Ĥ4. Despite them finishing lowly on the table, he was outstanding and caught the attention of the league. Mbachi (St Lukes FC) – A reliable asset when called upon for the saints in their first season. Playing for then Heroez, he came through with the goods whenever called upon.Ĥ5. Arthur (Heroez FC) – Surprised the league by scoring 9 goals whilst playing in defence for most of the season. Banged in 8 goals during the course of the league, important ones at that, and carried his teams scoring prowess on his shoulder. Mbinga (Kankungwa) – Some light in a very disappointing performance by the inaugural champs, Mbinga aka Baddest aka Obiiioooooo had a season not as good as his first but still above league average. As soft spoken as his touch on the ball, Joshua is a gem of a midfielder.Ĥ7. He was a pillar in the midfield of the Mercenaries and was at the heart of almost everything good about the Mercenaries. Joshua (Cathedral Stars) – The midfielder is a natural lefty with amazing control of the ball and brilliant vision. Was crucial for the Legends last season, chipping in with a couple of important last minute goals that aided their fight to finish in a respectable position.Ĥ8. He has the energy of a bull and finishing that defies the eye. He has earned the name “Slow Poison” by killing off opponents by seeming harmless. Bright (UNAM Legends) – Little was known about this man till he burst onto the scene last season. Give him 2 yards and he will take 3 points off you!!Ĥ9. Restricted by game time due to his professional affiliations, he is one to watch out for this season. As good as they get, Mahad is a box to box midfielder capable of scoring the perfect goal and also delivering the perfect pass. Mahad (Hornets FC) – Kicking off last season’s list of best performers is The Hornets FC very own Toni Kroos. Players are judged on their level of consistency over the past season, their big-game performances, footballing legacy and the success of their team in the league and league cup.ĥ0.
